About Counselling at Your Space Counselling & Psychotherapy

What is counselling and psychotherapy?

Counselling and psychotherapy offer a safe, confidential, and ethical space where you can freely explore and discuss the issues, concerns, or difficulties you're facing with a fully trained and qualified counsellor.

There is no right or wrong, no judgment, no pressure, and no expectations.

The counsellor is there to listen and support you in exploring what matters most in your life—your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors (both past and present)—within a comfortable, non-judgmental environment.

In this space, you may gain a deeper understanding of yourself or others, find your own solutions, gain clarity, make meaningful changes, or discover healthier coping strategies.

How do I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist?

Ultimately, you are always at the center and heart of my approach.

I adapt to your needs and preferences, drawing on various aspects of my training to work collaboratively with you in the moment. Each individual is unique, and therefore, each person may require a different approach to meet their specific needs.

The counselling space is Your Space, where you can feel safe and supported.

I integrate a variety of modalities, including Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory.

For those who prefer a more creative way of expressing themselves, I also incorporate creative approaches to support exploration and self-expression.

Who do I work with?

I strive to be open and welcoming to everyone who enters this space. My goal is to offer my expertise and counselling to all, as everyone deserves a safe environment where they can be heard and supported, especially during challenging times.

This is why I make every effort to provide a range of counselling options to suit individual needs (see below).

Remote counselling

I offer video and telephone sessions, available nationwide and worldwide.

Clients often find remote counselling to be incredibly beneficial in today's technology-driven world. It provides flexibility, convenience, accessibility, and comfort, making it easier to fit into busy lives with more options and choice.

Many people are initially unsure about remote counselling—myself included at first—but I was quickly convinced of its effectiveness once I gave it a try.

No matter where you are, I can reach you and provide support.
